Looking back at the first round series between the Magic and Raptors last year, it’s hard not to fixate on the feelings after Game 1. Toronto had just given up a performance of a lifetime to D.J. Augustin, coughed up another first round opener, and had us all questioning exactly why the Raptors couldn’t play up to expectations once the games started to matter. The veterans and the championship guys were here. Why were they suddenly Raptors-ing?

Of course, then they went on to beat the Magic four straight times and win the championship, so why worry about anything ever?

The Raptors and Magic meet again tonight for the first time since facing each other in the playoffs last year. Orlando, if you’re wondering, hasn’t gotten any smaller in the passing time, starting three guys who could feasibly play centre in today’s NBA in Aaron Gordon, Jonathan Isaac, and Nikola Vucevic.

The Magic, overall, haven’t looked exceptional in a 1-1 start, beating Cleveland but losing in Atlanta on Saturday. Early on, they share a challenge with Toronto — how to sort out the rotation into something that fits. Their point guard spot, especially, has been a source of frustration with Trae Young lighting up Augustin, Markelle Fultz, and Michael Carter-Williams in their last game.

So, how will this matchup shake out? Let’s look into the game details and three keys.

The last two remaining undefeated teams in the Eastern Conference will go head-to-head when the Atlanta Hawks host the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. Both teams started off their campaigns 2-0, and will be looking to extend their streak to three straight wins to start off the season.

Early in the season, the Sixers have been buoyed by a strong defense and balanced offensive attack, as all five of their starters -- Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, and Josh Richardson -- plus Mike Scott are all scoring in double figures over the first two contests. The health of Embiid will be something to keep an eye on in this one after he missed the team's second game of the season with an ankle injury that he suffered in the opener. He was initially listed as questionable for the contest against the Hawks, but has a chance to play. If so, it will be interesting to see how much he is able to contribute on the court.

For the Hawks, second year sharpshooter Trae Young has helped to lead them to an unexpectedly strong start with a scorching start to the season. He has had help from Atlanta's frontcourt, though, as forward Jabari Parker, John Collins and De'Andre Hunter are averaging at least 10 points per game early on.

In an open Eastern Conference, both teams will be looking to make some major noise as the season wears on and the playoffs approach. With that said, here's everything you need to know about the Monday night match-up between the Sixers and Hawks.

The Bulls are heading into the game here with a 1-2 record on the season. The last game out for the Bulls was a very disappointing loss as the Bulls lost to the Raptors by 24 points. The offense for the Bulls only managed to get 84 points and the defense allowed a total of 108 points to be scored, which was impressive for the defense, but the offense was horrible.

Zach LaVine has managed to lead the Bulls with 21.3 points a game being scored. The LaVine has ended up getting 5 assist a game. When it comes to cleaning up the glass the Bulls have relied on Lauri Markkanen who has pulled down a total of 11.7 boards a game.

Well, the Knicks fans are going to be disappointed again this year. The Knicks have only managed to have a little bit of offensive production this season, but the defense has really had some issues on the year so far as well. The last game for the Knicks was a 23 point loss to the Boston Celtics and it was definitely something the Knicks would like to have been more competitive in, but alas the Knicks simply did not have the talent to compete.
